Emerging young talent from AKT's acclaimed theater education program perform alongside

seasoned adult professionals (many who have appeared in SMP Mainstage productions!)

in this modern-day interpretation of the Shakespeare classic.

Music is by Alan Menken (Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, A Bronx Tale), winner of eight Oscars,

eleven Grammys and seven Golden Globes. Book is by June Walker Rogers and lyrics are

by David Rogers. The Rogers’ previous collaborations include The Truth About Cinderella and

Twelve Dancing Princesses. The Rogers are incidentally the grandparents of Lucy Ferrante,

the current production’s Hermia.
