Larry Garf
Pianist
Although he was born decades after the end of the Silent Film era, Larry Garf exuberantly combines his passion for vintage cinema with his love of ragtime and early jazz. During his late teens, he began accompanying silent movies for the film department at his college, and has never lost his enthusiasm for this art form. The grandson of musicians who actually played in movie theater orchestras in the 1920s, Larry deftly combines popular songs of the era with his own original compositions.
