Jacquelin Lorraine Schofield is a proud United States Air Force Veteran, who hails from Brooklyn, NY, a gifted home chef, and a member of Actors' Equity Association. She is an Ovation and NAACP Theater Award winner for performances in The Color Purple and was nominated for an NAACP Theater Award for Best Supporting Female for her performance as Mrs. Muller in Doubt: A Parable (Westchester) and for Best Female Lead for her performance as Mrs. Potts in Disney’s Beauty and The Beast (TNH/Casa 0101). After a successful summer run of In The Heights (La Mirada Theatre) as the first Afro-Latina to play Abuela Claudia, she joined Rogue Machine Theatre for the world premiere of Diane Frolov’s Come Get Maggie. Other Theatre credits: The Crucible (Theatricum); The Color Purple, A Musical (Greenway); Sister Act, The Musical (CASA); Bronco Billy, The Musical (Skylight); Bad Habits (Ruskin Group): How We Got On (Sacred Fools); Rapunzel Alone (The Wallis/24th Street); Camille (Santa Clarita Shakes); and A Great Wilderness (Rogue Machine).
