Emily Kay Townsend

Emily Kay Townsend is ecstatic to be a part of Pump Boys and Dinettes.  Emily, a Chicago native, started singing and playing the piano as a young girl with her father in church.  She studied musical theater at AMDA College and Conservatory of the Performing Arts in NYC, obtained her Bachelor’s Degree at AMDA Los Angeles, and now plays at the Actors Studio West.  Some of her favorite roles include, Gretchen in Boeing-Boeing and Madeline in Hit the Wall.  She would like to thank her Midwest and California family for their ongoing love and support and the community and directors at Sierra Madre Playhouse for this opportunity.
