
Boróka Nagy
DancerBoróka Nagy is a Budapest-born dancer-choreographer who honed her craft in NYC before settling in California. She earned her MFA in Dance from UC Irvine in 2015, focusing on choreography, technology, and curation. Boróka completed the Ailey/Fordham BFA Program and has performed in works by renowned choreographers such as Bertram Ross, Paul Taylor, and Alvin Ailey. She founded Re:borN Dance Interactive, a contemporary dance company that explores the interconnectedness of movement, emotions, and identity through immersive performance. Boróka became the director of The Academy of Dance in 2021, inspiring her to use dance education to improve the future for the next generation. In 2022, she established Reborn Arts, a non-profit that creates experiences to bring breath and ownership back into our overly structured lives.
