Marcha Kia

Marcha Kia (Sally) acts, sings (in English and Japanese!), and dances on land and on ice! Thrilled to make her musical debut at SMP, Marcha has acted in numerous short films and series in LA, including Quaranteens the web series. Recent credits include Little Shop of Horrors (Audrey) and 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (Marcy). Marcha trained in opera at the University of Virginia, where she also studied engineering. She is a nationally ranked figure skater with ballet, hip-hop, and ballroom training. As a Miller Arts Scholar and grant recipient, she pursued her music and songwriting aspirations. Marcha hopes to bring a passion, perspective, and vibrant energy to all of her artistic endeavors… Hey, that’s a good philosophy! Thank you to my family and my first music teacher Mrs. Saldanha.
