Steve Altman

Steve Altman (Albert) is from Dayton Ohio where he began acting at age 5. He studied with Stella Adler in New York and toured as Judas in 'Jesus Christ Superstar' and Berger in 'Hair' with the New York City Repertory Theatre. He co-starred with Ed Begley (Fox's 'Chameleon'), William Baldwin ('A Plumm Summer'), Robert Vaughn ('Transylvania Twist'), Bruno Kirby  and Mike O'Malley ('Diverting Devotion'.) As a stand-up Steve worked with Jay Leno, Jerry Lewis, Garry Shandling, Dennis Miller, Brad Garrett and Bill Mahar…appearing on Comedy Central, HBO, Showtime, MTV, ABC, NBC, A&E and Fox. A songwriter with Motown Records Steve has written music for José Feliciano, Smokey Robinson, Disney, HBO and NASA.  Steve worked with Cate Caplin on his original musical version of the Time Machine…and recently wrote and directed "Just Imagine" starring Tim Piper as John Lennon, receiving the Los Angeles Times Critic's Choice Award (justimaginetheshow.com).
